I've created several original applications for weather predicting, helicopter placement to fight fires over Spanish soil, best way to pay off a mortgage according to Spanish legislation, all using my own algorithms. Now, I would like to know if there’s a way I can publish this as Android applications and earn money. I have no idea about business so any help would be great. I’ve read you have to pay in order to publish. But, I suppose that’s a first step to get your application to be known by the users and then, if it’s successful you can earn money from. Correct me if I’m mistaken. My applications run on several platforms (written originally in Linux) and they can be used in both English and Spanish.

You need to pay a fee to be able to publish on the Android market, but this is a one-time fee of 25 dollars, if I remember correctly. To earn money with your apps I can think of the following three possibilities:

Display ads in your Apps, you receive some money when your users click on an Ad. In my own apps I use Admob, but maybe there are other ad providers.

Set a price for your app in the Android market. You will receive money from Google for every purchase (although Google takes 30% of that).

Use in-app purchases to sell subscriptions to your apps.

For more information on these options you can Google them, there is more than enough documentation to find.

EDIT As seen in the comments below your question, this actually is the wrong site for this type of questions. I should have pointed that out before.
